هنّأت الفنانة اللبنانيّة هيفاء وهبي شعب تونس بانتخاب رئيسه الجديد كما هنّأت الرئيس المنتخب الباجي قايد السبسي في تغريدة نشرتها على موقعها على التويتر، كتبت فيها :

Congratulations for my beloved Tunisia for choosing their new president” Beji Caid el Sebsi.
